HOW DO WE UNDERSTAND PAIN

Painful is the truth. Isn't this an inexorable and undisputable reality that most of us are trying to deny? Pain-are'nt most of us afraid to experience it? The most cruel thing to torment the spirit of man is to simply put him in extreme pain. Many a people wants to evade from pain because by nature, we are afraid to suffer. No wonder why those people who are willing to undergo this experience are considered a martyr and a hero itself. But isn't there an aweful and wonderful reason behind the disgusting facade of pain? Have most of us ever pondered it at once?

When reality speaks, it hurts. But it is better to get hurt and to live by the truth rather than to live a happy yet unrealistic life. Every individual wants to be happy that, most often than not, they shun to accept the grim reality especially if it is painful. If they meet it, they often categorize it as evil but there's actually no evil in it. It is always a good thing that makes life a foundation of rock. It is the source of power which strenghthen man. Pain is simply the bibliography of our most unforgettable lessons in life. The more we get hurt, the more scars of lessons are left behind. Have'nt we realize that pain could be the most beautiful thing life can give? Without it, what an empty life it is. Without troubles, problems and pains-what color life would bring? Isn't it boring if the world we live in has no challenges? We are being challenged in the world in the pursuit of winning. We exert effort and excruciating pain, and that is the sweetest part of winning. After tearful nights of struggles, after wearisome thrive of seems an insurmountable challenges-how sweet success is after the rain of bitter times. Life is good if there's pain in it. God allows pain because there's there's good in it. Have'nt we observe? The lessons we have learned from our successes are likely to be thrown out by the wind into the sea. But the lessons we have learned from our failures and pains, no matter how deep, no matter how far it's been throwned off, it will always bring forth the undisturbed message. It always conveys good or even best things into our life if we could only yield to it with open mind.

Sometimes pain is the answer because it teaches lessons in us. It could be inculcated as a part of our being. Sometimes, also we ask the Omnipotent of our painful experiences. However, pain in itself, is an answer to some unfathomable questions about God. The ways of his sufferings, the love that has been unconditionally given to us, the mercy and goodness that has been bestowed upon us, although great enough still, some of us cannot see and hear what it conveys. Isn't it painful for Him that the most indispensable and most significant person in His life would only deny and reject Him? Most of us are full of superficialities that we have forgotten pain as part of our life, that even Jesus experiences pain-much pain than we ever had. For Him, painful it may seem but he accepted it with a meek heart. How about us? We always puffed off and often mumble if it comes our way. We never dare to scrutinize the reasons. We tend to react only to find out when it's too late that we've been defeated, that we've been overridden alone to our grave. If and only if, human could understand pain in a deeper sense, it is the source of immeasurable happiness that could be nurtured into our being for the rest of our life.
